Gemeinsam mit allen Hörerinnen, Hörern und Followern möchten wir die Daido Moriyama Foto Challenge starten. Und das Beste ist: Jeder kann sich beteiligen! Wir lassen uns dabei vom radikalen Stil von Daido Moriyama und seiner kompromisslosen Street Photography inspirieren.
Ob analog, digital oder Smartphone – erlaubt ist alles. Uns interessiert nicht das technisch perfekte Bild, sondern dein ganz persönlicher Blick auf den Moment. Die Idee dabei …

Diese Challenge wird das Hauptthema zu unserer Jubiläumsfolge weekly52 No. 500 im Herbst 2026. Wir möchten eure Bilder und Geschichten feiern und binden eure Einsendungen direkt in das Video, den Podcast und in den Blog ein.
So einfach bist du dabei:
Deine Bilder: Schicke uns deine Fotos im Daido Moriyama-Style (maximal 10 Stück).
Das Format: Bitte im kleinen Format senden (maximal 500 KB pro Bild).
Deine Sprachnachricht: Pack eine ganz kurze Sprachnachricht (maximal 1 Minute) dazu. Erzähl uns kurz, was du erlebt hast oder was wir auf den Bildern sehen.
E-Mail senden: Schicke alles an thomas@weekly52.de.
Einsendeschluss: Schicke uns deine Bilder und deine Nachricht bis zum 15.9.2026.
Vielleicht entstehen dabei keine perfekten Fotos. Aber vielleicht genau die ehrlichsten. Ich freue mich schon jetzt riesig auf eure Bilder, eure Botschaften und auf eine unvergessliche Folge No. 500 mit euch allen!

In our current weekly52 episode, weekly52-Folge “ ⓦ 477 Daido Moriyama, der Fotograf, der nicht durch den Sucher blickt” Wolfgang and I suddenly said something at minute 44 that we want to turn into reality now: "Let's do this!"
Together with all our listeners and followers, we want to start the Daido Moriyama Photo Challenge. And the best part is: Anyone can join! We are inspired by the radical style of Daido Moriyama and his honest street photography.
The idea is very simple:
Just go outside and feel the moment.
Take photos spontaneously – without overthinking.
Less perfection, much more feeling.
More perception, less control.
Whether you use an analog camera, digital camera, or your smartphone – everything is allowed. We are not looking for the perfect image, but for your personal view of the moment.
The Big Goal: Our Episode No. 500! 🎧📺
This challenge will be the main topic for our big anniversary episode weekly52 No. 500 in autumn 2026. We want to celebrate your pictures and stories and will include your submissions directly into the video, the podcast, and the blog.
How to participate:
Your photos: Send us your photos in the Daido Moriyama style (maximum 10 pictures).
The format: Please send them in a small size (maximum 500 KB per photo).
Your voice message: Add a very short voice message (maximum 1 minute). Briefly tell us about your experience or what we see in the pictures.
Send your email: Send everything to thomas@weekly52.de.
Deadline: Please send us your photos and message by September 15, 2026.
Maybe these won't be perfect photos. But they might be the most honest ones. I am already very excited to receive your pictures, your messages, and to share a great episode No. 500 with all of you!
